“We would both like to say a huge thank-you for helping to make our special day so memorable! You put us, and all of our guests, at ease straightaway. The photographs we received consisted not only of formal, posed pictures, but also many that were spontaneous and un-posed. We are over the moon with the results and your photographs will help us cherish these memories forever.”

“Celal did my wedding photography and working with him was a joy from start to finish. It is very nice to have a calm and patient photographer. Celal appealed to me because it was clear from meeting him and seeing his photographs that he is a gifted photographer with a great understanding and love of real human expression. His work is outstanding, heart rending and extremely worthy of being called art. I found his photography unique and refreshing. I will certainly be recommending him to family and friends and I wish I had a chance to work with him again.”

I rarely describe myself as a London wedding photographer. Instead, I think of myself as an artist who uses photography as their medium. To me, photography is not about recording a memory of an event, but a way to evoke emotion in the viewer. My role isn’t simply to take pictures, but to create an album of wedding photos which touches your soul and fills you with warmth and joy when you look at them.

People can feel awkward and uncomfortable if they feel they are being scrutinised through a lens, so my aim is to for you and your guests to barely notice I am there. I really enjoy documentary style wedding photography where I photograph events as they unfold in all their beauty. This day is about you, your love, and your celebration. By getting to know you before your wedding, I can take portraits in a way which feels relaxed and natural, not forced or uncomfortable.

Wedding photography is a collaboration that starts with an initial consultation so that I can be clear about your expectations, and you can ask me anything you need to know. I will go through your plans for your day, finding out what is important to you, looking at timing and venues, and gathering information so I can scout the best locations for your photos, creating several possible plans to fit any weather eventuality (it is London, after all!)

Each wedding is unique and, even though I have been a wedding photographer in UK and Europe for more than a decade, I remember every wedding I have photographed. To discuss your wedding photography needs simply use the contact form, email, or phone to arrange a convenient time to talk.
